Ron is an accomplished professional in the field of Organization, Training & Development. He has comprehensive and diversified expertise in consulting for organizations in the implementation of strategic initiatives focused on improving corporate effectiveness.
Ron is widely recognized and much sought after for his natural ability to build rapport with groups and to create a warm learning environment. He is a pragmatic and results oriented individual who has a proven track record for helping organizations, teams and individuals achieve the goals they are most passionate about.
In 1985, Ron formed his own private consulting firm, "Catherwood & Associates", specializing in Organizational Development as well as Training and Development. Ron also provides in-house training services, involving custom designed programs such as: Building Leadership Skills, Team Leader Facilitator Skills and Customer Service Workshops.
In addition to his diverse background in Training and Development, Ron has consulted with business and industry in employee involvement initiatives, continuous improvement projects and organization needs assessment, resulting in successful implementation of activities related to increasing organizational effectiveness, morale and productivity.
Ron is a past President of the Ontario Society for Training and Development (O.S.T.D.) and a founding member of the Ontario Society - South Central Chapter, and is a member of Organizational Development Consultants of Toronto, P.H.D. Trainers Association. Ron is also a D.D.I. certified instructor and qualified as a C.M.A. (Canadian Manufacturers Association) instructor. He is a charter member in the Association for Independent Training Professionals of Ontario.
